Is it possible the medicine I took for trich cured chlamydia if I had it?

Back in September I went to my doctor to get checked because I thought I had a yeast infection that wasn’t going away. Well my results came back positive for trichamonasis and about a month or two after I got checked my boyfriend I was with for two years got checked and came back positive for chlamydia only. After I found out I had something and he cheated (which he did confess to sleeping with someone else) we broke up and after my treatment (a pill three times daily for a week) I started talking to a guy and we had unprotected sex. All my symptoms quit after the third day of the medication and they still are gone. Me and this guy stopped talking and a while after this I slept with someone else and then a few weeks later my bestfriend sleotbwith that guy and after a week of sleeping with that guy she got tested cause my ex I was with for two years came back positive for chlamydia and she got her results back and she was clean she didn’t have anything so I assume I’m clean because I didn’t use protection with that guy and she didn’t either but it just bothers me that somehow I got trich from my ex and he only had chlamydia when he got tested. How is that possible and if I got misdiagnosed and really had chlamydia would  the medication I took for trich cure the chlamydia? I’m not having any symptoms and my friend isn’t having any symptoms of anything but we’re both terrified that I got misdiagnose and really had chlamydia and it never went away and that it was too soon for her to get checked cause it was only  week since her and the guy slept together. I tried calling the health department and talking to them but all they said was they could test me again but it would cost me $70 because my insurance canceled. But I’m not 18 yet so I thought it’s free?

I had a little bit of a hard time following who slept with who and how it is all connected.  Bottom line, chlamydia is never considered cured until you get three negative tests.  Sorry about your insurance.  Those tests aren't free, someone pays.  Whether its you or the insurance company.  You CAN, however, try somewhere like planned parenthood which is a clinic or any other clinic you may get a free test or reduced rate test, etc.  Look for your options.  Chlamydia doesn't have symptoms usually.  And you aren't absolutely sure to get it just cause your friend did.  So, a lot of unknowns here.  Anyway, your post is a bit confusing and I'm not really sure what you are asking but condoms do prevent std's from spreading!  And a full std panel all over again would make sense in this situation.  good luck
