Itchy Vagina, Please I need an answer.

It's been days since I start to itch down there. Maybe one week or more days after my period I start using panty liner cause I have some discharge that needed to put a liner then tomorrow after that I stopped using liner cause I feel itchy and till now it's still itch like hell! No pain in urination or anything it's just itch. And I'm worried now what is it could be. Anyone can tell me what it is? It's my first time happening to me.

probably a yeast infection which is very common and not worrisome.  Try the vagisil wipes but consider seeing a doctor to swab the discharge to make sure it is yeast and then to treat it.  Which is what you are supposed to do for a first ever yeast infection. Really, not a big deal.  Women get yeast overgrowth when the PH changes in the vagina as I mentioned, perhaps a tampon did that as it seals off air and makes for a nice, warm airless environment in which yeast can grow, OR it happens when you take an antibiotic or if you douche etc.  Nothing serious, just annoying.  good luck

Have you ever had a yeast infection?  Sounds like this may be unfamiliar territory to you.  Yeast infections don't hurt when going to the bathroom unless you've irritated yourself (usually by itching) and caused abrasions that sting when urine hit them.  But typically, they are just super annoying with the itch and have a funky discharge that is often clumpy (but doesn't smell).  They happen when the PH of our vagina changes allowing an overgrowth of yeast.  Good times.  This could be what is going on.  The first time you have this, it should be officially diagnosed by a doctor.  Once you've had one diagnosed, as a woman, you will know when you have it for the rest of your life and can self treat at that point.  They make over the counter products that do a nice job.  Or the doctor can give you a pill that wipes it out quickly.  The other possibility is a reaction to the pad but am guessing you've used those before without this happening?  They make a Vagisil wipe that helps a little bit and I'd start with that.  Might help with the itch.  But see your doctor.  Do NOT douche (ever).  Probiotics help (I like it in my yogurt like activa brand).  good luck

actually I've been using the same liner as I usually use and the itch is my first time so I'm kinda worried what it might be. Thank you for answering
