Well, it's not that your periods are not on time. You just have a longer cycle now. Over the years, my periods have shifted and hormones have shifted. It's the natural way of things ebbing and flowing. During my 20's, I was highly irregular or had really long cycles. Then I hit 30 and I began having a period like clockwork. But then I hit another change. And another, and here I am today. You don't even want to know what is in store for you down the road. lol This is what your period is like now. It's consistently this same way? Then that is your pattern. You are bleeding within normal in terms of number of day, right? That's less than 7. And you probably aren't heavy every one of the days but have a couple of super heavier days. I have 2 super heavy, 1 sort of heavy and the rest are lighter. On the heavier days, I am HEAVY. If the clots are not bigger than a quarter, they are within normal as well. I do not think the abortion caused any issue. But if you are not thrilled with things, you can talk to your doctor. Some people take birth control pills to lesson periods and to help kick start the cycle to be a different way (shorter or more regular). good luck
