Hi, I am realy woried and done a realy bad thing a drunkly slept with another guy while I was with my bf.. I told my bf starte away and he says no matter what he wil stick by me but for both our sake I hope its my bf... I had unprotected sex with that guy on the 15th ov oct and with my bf on the 7th oct and can't remember when I slept with him before that.. But I have had 3scans now my first scan and 2 ermancey scans and 2 coming back 2 be the 3rd ov oct and 1 to be the 7th oct witch means its coming back 2 be my bf but still woried... How likely is it 2 be the other guys? Thanks for your help x
It's different for everyone, it all depends on when the HCG hormone/ or hormone variant shows up in your system via blood or urine.

Scans in the earliest weeks of pregnancy (7 weeks, 8 weeks etc.) are not usually off by more than a week. Your problem is that the sex was so close together that it is within that week's margin for error. While it could be from either man, and you really do owe it to both men to get the definite answer with a DNA test, if the first scan you had was as early as your 7th or 8th week, and they specifically talked a "conception" date, there is a pretty good chance it was your boyfriend's baby. Again, you'll need a DNA test once the baby is born to be sure.

You can't really go by the ultrasound, babies grow at different rates and there is no garauntee as to the accurate date 100%. The only way to be sure is to do a DNA test using your baby and boyfriend ( no need to include the other guy unless necessary) once your baby is born of course. Best of luck. I know someone who has a 25 year old son and doesn't know who his dad is, but it haunts her.

When the possibilities are only a week apart, really only a DNA test is going to definitely answer the question. I would go by the first ultrasound's date. Please remember that unless you told the person doing the scan that you wanted to know the baby's conception date, he or she would have told you how far along with you using the medical way of counting, which means that they would count starting on the first day of your last period.
