Multiple Issues

Hi I am 23 years old and becoming a bit frustrated with my vagina. I was on the same birth control for about 6 years. This year I decided to try out nuva ring. After becoming a little annoyed with being able to feel it during intercourse and eventually taking it out each time I started to think it wasn't really worth the convenience of only thinking about it once a month since I was thinking about it everyday pretty much. Then I started to experience pain during intercourse. I have been with my boyfriend for a year now so I was hoping it wasn't an std. I got checked for everything, chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, etc. Everything came back negative so I asked my doctor to change me back to the pill because I figured my vagina did not like the ring and that it was probably irritated which was why I was feeling pain. It has been three weeks now since I am back on a different pill than I used to take so I now my body needs to get used to it but I am now experiencing other issues. There is still some slight pain sometimes at the beginning of intercourse but it goes away. Now I have come to realize that during intercourse, particularly when my boyfriend is entering from behind, I am actually urinating at the point of climax I guess. My boyfriend doesn't believe that its urine and either way he's proud of himself that he can get that reaction from me, but after the last time we had sex I am feeling sort of UTI like symptoms, it doesn't hurt when I urinate but I constantly feel the need to go and then when I go it always feels like more needs to come out but nothing is left. I am also experiencing some cramping in my stomach which I thought was just gas pains or something but they have not really gone away. And this could be completely unrelated but I had incredible back pain mostly on the right side of my back and then moving to both sides of my mid-back. That soreness is still existing but could be from something else. I recently graduated college and am on only the premiums of my insurance for 4 months uintil benefits kick in so I do not know if doctors visits would be covered during this time. Can anyone help with these issues??

If you are having the desire to urinate more as well as lower back pain then you certainly need to do as mum2beagain sugested and check your kidney. Kidney pain can spread all up the back if the nerves are stressed enough and can even cause other feelings around the area such as hip discomfort and nausea if it gets severe. Changing birth controls can alter the effectiveness of your immune system. It might be a great help to have sex with lots of lubricant and in positions that dont cause penetration to be too much towards the belly button area. Also, have your sex partner practice good hygiene if you can. If he he works long hours or sweats a lot, or does not change underwear every day, fecal bacteria can get mixed with sweat down there and end up on the shaft. This can cause infection, irritation, and a higher risk of UTI or BV if your immune system is not keen.

You may have a kidney infection, you need to get it checked out.
