When you say "I would have liked" about it, it sounds like this is not the impulse of the moment but you've been wishing for this for a while? So maybe it does suggest you're a lesbian or at least bisexual: a lot of women who live straight-looking lives do it because life has more or less forced them into the role instead of it being what their inner nature wanted. Anyway, at 78 you've earned the right to not give a dang about what anyone else thinks; the question is where you can meet some nice lesbians who would be open to trying something with a beginner.
