Pain reflief for super bad cramps

Hey everyone! I get extremely bad cramps like 2 weeks before my period and they last all through my period. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a medicine or medication that helps with this. Its not fun! Thanks.

Thanks to both of you! I used to take Midol all the time but I would end up taking more than the daily recommended dose everyday and it still wouldn't work. I'll try Alieve!

I've always used Midol every 4-6 hours, that usually helps.

Alieve is over-the-counter and the best that I have tried.  Take the medication with food or milk to avoid stomach upset.
