Bleeding after sex

Ive been having sex for years. tonight while i was with a partner, I started bleeding. I went home to find that a piece of skin that had always been at the entrence of my vagina, stretching from the top of the opening to the bottom, had broken in half and is bleeding. My mom doesnt know I am sexually active and i would rather not tell her yet. However, this piece of skin is now hanging out of my vagina. what can I do?
