Pid and infertility
How likely am I to have contracted pid and be infertile due to having untreated chlamydia for 18 months. I'm trying to conceive and have no symptoms and the doctors felt no need to treat me but have been trying for months to conceive and had no luck

I assume the chlamydia is treated and gone? (You said the doctors "felt no need to treat" you, I assume you meant for infertility?) It seems that if you have known if you had PID -- it would have shown up in some way by symptoms or evidence, and it sounds like your doctor doesn't think you had it.

Oh, phooey, typo -- where I said It seems that "if you had known" if you had PID, I meant to write tt seems that you "would have known" if you had PID.
Yes both me and my partner were treated for chlamydia at the same time so it's definitely gone. My doctor had a feel around and asked if I had any symptoms and me saying no seemed sufficient to her. I've always had slightly irregular periods though so wouldn't have noticed any abnormalities there
Well, I think she might have been wondering about fever and pain, not irregular cycles. It sounds like the doc is not worried.
