2 vaginal openings??

Hi,

im 16 and ive never used tampons before but i started exploring in the hopes that I could and it feels like i have two holes, I know its not my urethra because thats too small, one hole is easy to put my finger in without too much pain, and the other hole feels like a butt hole. after putting my finger in about 2cm i feel a tight circle, sort of like a anus and it hurts more to put my finger in. It is not my anus as it in located in my vagina, im not sure if it could be my hymen or something but the skin feels very hard just like an anus.

Helpp???,
thanks,

Hi,
I think you might be describing a 'Septate Hymen'; if you look online you can read more information about it. A septate hymen is different from the most average hymen (with one small opening), because there are two openings instead of one, separated by a narrow band of tissue. You need to make an appointment with your doctor or gynecologist about this; tell your mom (parent/guardian) that you think you need to schedule a pelvic exam. Having the doctor perform a pelvic exam will help you figure out exactly what is going on. For now, you should leave the tampons alone and stick with pads until you are able to be seen by a doctor.
