My periods over a month long

Im 17 Ive been on the depo jab for about 6-8 months I've had of three times. I have had my period the whole month of February and most if march. I'm worried would there be anything making it this long. I eat health i am active  I get a decent amount of sleep. Would there be anything contributing to it in my life like my partner and I having sex? Ive had abdominal pain back pain and pain where my ovary's are. Any help would be great.

Oh sweetie, that's not right.  A month long period is too long.  Spotting, most likely and not a true period, but you don't want to be spotting for that long.  I'm sure that is a royal pain.  Things like hormonal issues such as too much progesterone  production (or added from birth control).  I think you need to go back to your doctor and discuss this.  The shot may not be a good choice for you.  Let us know what happens, okay?
