Pinching feeling in side when bend back or twist

I feel a pinching feeling when I bend back to pull my shoes on or when I reach or twist. Seems more like its caused by my weight. I have gained more weight and I am obese. Feel this discomfort in middle side of back on either side more to the back of my sides under arms to the back. It sometimes hurts more and I have to sort of shake it off a little like a foot cramp but I have more control over stopping it.
