Sty

So I have a sty ... I have been getting them for the last year now on and off ... this time after I got rid of the sty and went MONTHS without wearing make-up, I finally went out and bought new make-up and the very next day of wearing the eye makeup ... I got a sty again!!!! Does anyone know what this could be a result of ... is something other than make-up ... or am I allergic to whatever is in it?

I have used both Eye drops and antibiotics for this ... and I just went out on Saturday and bought clinique make-up ... Sunday morning I had the Sty.  I dont have any weird lumps or bumps anywhere ... I have never had an acne problem ... I dont even know where to get hypo allergic make up. I thought clinique would be good because its for sensitive skin .. apparently not Hehe ... No one ever uses my make-up because i have gotten them so frequent that I wont let it and no one wants to LMAO!

I'm just wondering if you have any other symptoms? It can be the symptom of an auto immune disorder, but it's not likely. Most likely, you are allergic to the make up. If that's what it's is, they may call it allergic conjunctivitis. This may sound like a weird question, but do you have problem's with acne, have you ever had any strange cuts, lumps, or bumps in the genital area? That would be a sign that it's a system wide allergy problem, which would make it more likely to be a an autoimmune disorder called Behcet's Syndrome. Have you tried hypo allergic make up? The other thing would be a bacterial infection that you are having a hard time clearing. I would suggest trying an anitbotic eye drop and going without any make up for a while until you are completely sure it has cleared. Then try again with a new hypo allergic liner, shadow, and mascara, whatever you use, just make sure it's all new. Also, make sure no one else ever uses your stuff. If it happens again, you may just be allergic to all make up.
