VULVODYNIA?

Have you researched Vuestibulitus, or Vulvodynia? You should go to NVA.org and read up on this condition. I have this condition and dealt with pain, burning, stinging, itching for years after many doctors i was diagnosed with Vulvodynia. First I ruled out STDS, then followed all directions. Refrained from sex, started wearing only full white cotton underwear, wiping with baby wipes after peeing, wearing loose clothing and researching everything about the disorder. I take A Tryclic Antidepressant, (AMITRIPTYLINE) and i am now able to have sex, have a normal relationship and talk to others about my disorder. But please go to several doctors, and rule out STD's before insisting on reviewing if you have this condition. Hope this helps.

Are you still having success with amitriptyline? Has it caused you any side effects? What other things have helped you?

WOW I saw a special on 20/20 (maybe Dateline) on this. It was sad to hear this ladies story...she was so open and brave about speaking of it. Crazy cause she was interviewed by a MAN!
