Vaginal pain after intercourse

Hello, I've been for my boyfriend for almost a year now, for the last couple months my perineum hurts after we have intercourse. It's like small paper cuts and hurts a lot, I've noticed is trigger by when he goes in and I have to take couple deep breathes cause it hurts a lot, during sex has only hurt a couple of times but I had to stop, mostly is after sex. Hurts and burns soo bad when I pee, I gotta wait at least a week for it to heal and to be able to have sex again with my boyfriend. But then when we have intercourse again the same problem repeats.
Does anyone know what could it be and how to treat it?
Thank you all!

It could be the residual of an STD (sexually transmitted diseases often go undetected and can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which causes pain during intercourse, among other things). You should be tested to make sure (and if you do have an STD, get your boyfriend tested and treated before having intercourse with him again or you will get reinfected)

Once an STD/PID is ruled out, consider possibly needing additional lubrication...or an allergy to latex (assuming you are using a condom) or the spermicide or lubricant you are using.

Well we both got checked before when we started dating and we both are monogamous. So yeah could be an allergy or the lubrication.
Thank you very much!
