2 Days late now what to do?

For the last 4 months, my menstrual cycle was spot in basing on the My Cycles app, I was never late. For this month, my husband and I have been trying to conceive and I'm 2 days late! The problem is I took only one pregnancy test yesterday (1 day late) and the result was negative. I'm confused and my body is going crazy with all these changes. What shoul I do?  Am I pregnant or what? Help pls.

Hi,
The pregnancy test can be repeated after a few days. For further confirmation, it is better to take a blood test for serum beta HCG levels. Consult your Doctor.
Take care & good luck.

Hello,
Delayed periods is the first sign of pregnancy. Hence to confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
