Pain in morning (didnt know where to post this..)

Since yesterday, ive been waking up really early due to pain in my upper abdomin area, like right under my chest, in the middle; its this sharp, but managable pain that last only a few seconds but come back every two minutes or so untill i get up, today it lasted about 10 minutes, but i went back to sleep but was waken back up by the pain and it lasted another about 15 minutes til when i got up. it only seems to happen in the morning, cause the pain wakes me up. I had this happen a few months ago but it stopped, but now its back. any ideas whats the problem?

I would see your doc, It could be anything from indigestion to gall bladder problems.  If you eat a high fat diet i would be tempted to blame your gall bladder but the only way to know is to see your doctor and have some tests done.   do you have any known digestion problems?

Sounds like a digestive issue....like indgestion or something. I would see your doctor if it keeps up.

i have no idea what this can be. a number of things come to my head. digestive issues is the first thing i think of. do u eat rite before bed and/or what types of foods do u eat. i love ice cream but if i eat it too late in the day it has me up nad down all nite. red sauce will do it as well. and i do experince mild cramps too. another thing that gives me pain in my stomach is when i ovulate. its like i can feel the eggs travel thru my tubes and down to my uterus. really weird sometimes. i think you shoud make an appt w/ your doc and see if he/she can shed some light on it for you. good luck
