Hey! I'm a 16 year old girl and I have noticed a bump under my left armpit just a little while ago. It never hurt or bothered me so I ignored it. But just a few days ago it started really hurting, so I'm getting worried. Since I first noticed it, it has grown significantly, so I've been trying to keep the area clean, and haven't shaved in a few days, not wanting to irritate it. But it's getting to the point where it hurts to raise or lower my arm, and sleeping is uncomfortable. When looking at it the centre of the lump it is a little yellow-y? And I think there is a puss-like substance coming out of it? I know I have to go see a doctor soon, and I am going to book an appointment, but if anyone has any idea of what it could be and could help me out by telling me what they think, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you

Good to hear you realize you need to see your doctor...Your very young, so I would imagine nothing serious....Could be a reaction to something or a small infection of some sort.....hard to tell without seeing it....Check in with your doctor and he/she should get you healed up.
