sore bump on inner vulva skin & a sore pimple inner middle of two vulvas

I have never gotten any of these issues before so I have a lot of questions.  I am a new mom so I gave birth to my son 6 months ago.  It was a c-section delivery so I am a little concern that it may be a STD. I am married and has only been with my husband.  But I have suspected my husband having sex with someone other than myself (hence a different subject for another day). So I want to make sure there are no other explainations I can find on my own research before seeing an OBGYN. Would appreciate all scenerios and or diagnosis.

Thank you so much I appreciate you taking the time to respond.  I knew I shouldn't have but I was a little overwhelmed by some of the other stories here in this forum. So did some research on herpes and it started to freak me out a little bit. From now on I'm going to stay away from any more research and especially the photos.  I will ride it out and hopefully it doesn't get worse. But I just realized that I remembered my husband having a blister a few weeks ago or many even a little over a month ago.  Well I will give it to the end of this week and then will go see a doctor if it gets worse. I just noticed the bump today but the pimple was there a few weeks ago but just noticed that it was still there today.  The bump in on the inner skin of the vulva while the pimple is also on the inner side but right smacked in the middle of the vulvas.  My mother is a "vicks" queen so I remembered she had mentioned it to someone in the family to put vicks on your private parts if you have something that's sore or has a head (yuck-I was still in grade school then). So that's what I did and it makes it feel so much better.

I also forgot to mention that by the bump where it feels sore it sort of feels like a cut soreness. So even more I started worrying which what made me lean towards looking up the pictures....big mistake. Oh well going to try to stay positive and will pray on it or about it. So its a waiting game but I can stay positive for my sake for the most part. Appreciate the sympathy on the issue with my husband but again will wait to see the diagnosis before I jump to addressing any emotions at this point. I am hoping its just like what you have for my son's sake but then again only time can tell.  Again, thank you...thank you...thank you!
