swollen labia after sex

hello. i had protected sex with my fiance 4 times on 13 august. the next morning i noticed that my left labia minora was swollen to 3 times its size. it hurts to walk ever since and i have not noticed any unusual discharge. i have tried ice packs and anti inflammatory pills over the week but that hasn't helped much. its still swollen. i am very worried. please help!

i ended up getting it drained and had the dead tissue removed. Londres70 is right, an abscessed Bartholin's  gland is exactly what the doctors said I had.

As love559 stated, this could be some type of cyst.  

To me it sounds like an abscessed Bartholin's gland.

I would recommend having your physician checking this so you know exactly what it is.

This happened to me before. It might be a boil or cyst. A gland might be infected. Sometimes a lot of pressure causes this to happen. It will usually go away but if you go to the doctors they will tell you to put hot compresses on it until it comes to a head. They might also give you antibiotics and might want to drain it and possibly remove dead tissue.
