tear inside my vagina close to the opening on the left

I had sex with this guy for the first time friday night. Well when I woke up Saturday it burned when I peed. I got a mirror and looked down there and I have like a tear of the skin close to the opening of my vagina more so on the left. It hurts when I walk. What is it? when will it go away? I recently about 3 weeks ago went to the doctor for a physical and Ive had my results given to me and Im clean as far as stds. Well could this guy friday have given me something or was I just not wet enough when we had sex?.

Thanks. How long does it take to heal?

Hi,
I've had vaginal tears or cuts before and they do hurt, itch, and burn when urinating.  If it's not bleeding excessively then there's probably no need for medical attention.  You will need to abstain from sex until it heals though, or at least I would.  The tears and/or cuts can happen from there not being enough lubrication, rougher sex, or sometimes even being allergic to your partner's fluids (which happened to me).  Good luck to you :)
