A hysteroscopy is a scope that is used to look inside your uterus. Any work can be done thru the scope. There are no incisions since the scope is inserted transvaginal. A D&C is when they clean out the uterine contents. Your Dr may schedule you for both a D&C and hysteroscopy. You can expect bleeding and cramping post surgery from both.
Good luck to you!
