womans helth

why do i feel like flu symptoms, nausea, body ache and migraine all at the same time a week before my period? is there anything i can take, its unbearable!! PLEASE HELP!!

Well it sounds like you have some tough periods there girl :( try taking Midol when you first experience it coming on. That'll help with cramps and the migraine. A heating pad should maybe calm your stomach, and also along those lines, stay away from fatty foods. That will make your stomach upset and can never help when having your period. You might just have to see your doctor about birth control. For some girls, harsh periods just run in the family. Talk to your aunts, grandmothers, your mom and see if they had unusually bad ones too. That way you'll know if the birth control might help tone it down a bit if you aren't already on it!
