Worried if a friend has Herpes.Or any other std.
I have a a friend and he is 21 and he has never had sexual intercourse.Its been almost 3 weeks now since he has been feeling down.It all started by a friend introducing him to an Asian Massage parlor because he had some Muscle aches after playing alot of soccer.he Went for the massage then when she was done massaging him.she asked if he wanted a body to body massage ,he said ok with doubts.(DAMN him)She took her clothes off and went ahead.She was basically sliding on him naked.he said he Felt her boobs on his back and her vagina on his buttocks for a while.Finished the b 2b massage.then in the same parlor he went into the jacuzzi and then into the steamer room.As soon as he was done he just started feeling weak and dizzy and felt like throwing up.he could barley drive back home.When he got back he felt like vomiting he was so dizzy.When he would lie on his head either on left or right he'd feel like his head is sinking.he was soo nervous that he caught an std.
(DAY2)Next morning he woke up.still felt like throwing up and felt weak.Later in the afternoon he felt some tingling on his buttocks.It was really annoying him ,(DAY3)then the next day his back and neck started burning bad it was like somebody had an iron on his back following that he started to feel like his arms ,thighs where burning,Gets worse when exposed to the sun.(DAY6)Then his eyes where a bit itchy.Then later on his eye lids or whatever makes his eye blink felt very weak.he'd always look like i never got enough sleep.i think his eye lids got weak.Then he got tingling and slight burning all over his face basically his whole body(DAY13)then he got a sweet taste in his mouth.he could even taste water as sweet his mouth gets dry easily. Now the burning and tingling (mainly tingling)comes when he sweats or when its hot.or when he starts to worry.When his neck and back used to burn he would feel very hot easily.Tingling and prickly feeling still on his buttocks.He worries to much.He keeps thinking he has a bad std he has no cuts.And yeah he got a straight small pattern of painless rashes/or bumps on his upper back.like 4 or 5 that look like pimples but tiny,they are not blisters.But there all gone now.He gets chills from time to time but no fever.He went to a doctor .
And the doc said it was anxiety or depression.He is sooo worried these days.He Cant even go to School.All this is true he wouldnt lie to me.He did not have sex with her.Could it be shingles?? He has an appointment with a doctor after 5 days.And he is soo worried he got an std. My question is do you think any of his symptoms represent symptoms of an std infection.Please let me know he is going to die of anxiety!!

his original symptoms most likely were from being in the hot water/hot steam. You can drop your blood pressure low from that.
nothing else sounds std related at all. he was at really low risk of a std as it was.
he certainly needs to follow up on his symptoms with his provider if they aren't getting better. no need for std testing based on his symptoms.
none of this sounds like shingles either.
