burning in body

i have intense burning inside my throat, chest, shoulder and abdomen mainly leftside but have burning points at left hip, thighs and tops of both feet and hands.  I feel hot on exertion of making bed etc.  I have neckpain and headaches.  I  have burning in my eyes and nose as if a blow torch is up there.  I am feeling depressed because of this as i think it is cancer somewhere in my body.  I am 50 and havent had a period for 2 months.  I am told my hormonal level is normal.  I have had a throat scope up my nose and down my throat and everything is fine.  I am worried about osoephgal cancer or stomach cancer as i have had helicobacter in past which was eradicated.  I have half my thyroid removed because of cyst but levels are normal.  I am terrified everyday because of this.  I am on ramipril tabllets 2.5mg every day and omaprazole 20mg twice a day.  I also have a strong smell to my urine

i have also had half my thyroid taken out 3 years ago because of cyst.  My thyroid levels are fine also.  My liver, kidney function are okay.  my gallbladder was taken out 9 years ago because of numerous gallstones.  My stomach is burning at the moment as is my throat, chest shoulder leftside.  That is why i think it is cancer which i am terrified to find out. I havent drastically lost weight and am still eating

Hi
Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Generalized feeling of a burning sensation can be due to dry skin, hyperthyroid states, liver or gall bladder dysfunction, peripheral neuropathies as in diabetes or decreased sweating as in Sjogren’s syndrome. This would need a comprehensive investigation.
Hyperthyroidism should be suspected in case of burning in eyes and hot and sweaty upper body. In females above 40 years it can be a symptom of menopause or premenopause. Peripheral neuropathies as in diabetes too should be looked into. Fibromyalgia is another possibility.
It is unlikely to be a cancer as endoscopy would have caught it. Take care!
