Do I just wait?

I am growing very concerned about some issues that I have been dealing with and starting to worry that I could have ovarian cancer. I have done a lot reading up on the Internet but its either very vague or very confusing. I am wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar to me and could help put my mind to rest a little or if necessary, not. Should I be insisting my Gyno does more tests? Here is my background/ symptoms:

1yr 2mnths ago had IUD fitted

10mnths ago very suddenly developed acid reflux and abdominal pains mainly left side. Had colonoscopy and endoscopy which revealed nothing wrong. Diagnosed with GERD (acid reflux). Symptoms still persist together with random burning sensations in stomach.

5 months ago developed sharp ovarian pain prior to menstruation and just generally felt tender in that region.

4 months ago went for Gyno check-up found 2cm  ovarian cyst on my left ovary.

3 months ago periods virtually stopped just random brown spotting. Developed a clear mucous like discharge sometimes tinged pink that comes and goes, sometimes there continuously for a couple of weeks at a time. Also noticed a change in bowel movements I have a condition called microscopic colitis that for years has given me watery stools. All of a sudden they are normal.

1 month ago went for Gyno check-up the left side cyst was still present and had not changed in size. Two or three other smaller ones were found on my right ovary.

3 weeks ago began getting dull pain almost like an elastic band around my midsection.

Last week had a period not a normal one for me though - very light and short.

Have still been feeling left side ovary pain as well as tenderness in that general area getting worse.

Last night I could not finish my dinner as I felt extremely full and bloated so much so that I was having difficulty breathing while sitting down but that I'd ease when I stood.

Today I am experiencing significant right side tenderness and pain which is bearable but not comfortable. I am also having bout of acid reflux and feeling bloated. I also feel pressure in my rectum like I did in my first stages of labor.

Sorry for the long post but wanted to provide as much background.

When I have ovarian cysts, they cause the same pain you described and cause constipation and sometimes affect urination. When my varian cysts burst, i get a pain and pressure that travels down to my rectum and the pain will stay for a few hours  and then finally go away slowly.. I’m sadly used to the pain  as i get it almost every month now but the first time sent me to the ER.

My IUD caused me to get a 6cm cyst. In 12% of patients with the Mirena IUD, they developed ovarian cysts. Because of the size they ran a CA125 blood test which can detect protiens that are typically found with Ovarian Cancer. All came back clear thank God. I have to schedule surgery to have the cyst removed. I have since had my IUD taken out.

It caused almost constant pelvic discomfort, odd periods (which would stop then come back and I would have a weird discharge) etc. Very frustrating!

Just a heads up, it could have something to do with your IUD. Maybe not, but it could. And ovarian cysts are very very common.
