Is 8.7 xm kidney cyst something to be concerned about?

I was having abdominal pain so the NP ordered CT which showed a 8.7 cm cystic entity possibly vascular involvement as well as a 2 mm kidney stone.

You need to do more checks to determine what this cyst is? If you have a test report, give me guidance.

Has your doctor followed up with you at all after the test results?  You will likely need some more tests to be sure what this cyst is- while I wouldn't panic, you should follow up and make sure you go through some additional testing until you get answers from your doctor on if this could mean cancer.
