I have a freckle on my nipple

Um, I’m only 14 and I just found 2, what look like, freckles on my nipple. I’ve never seen it before, but I’m afraid it might be something dangerous, maybe I’m over thinking it. I don’t remember seeing it before, am I fine?

I would guess you are fine.  Breast cancer is not usually going to present in that way and would be quite rare for someone your age.  I had a mole on my breast for a  good bit of time in my late teens.  It was removed.  And then it grew back.  I had to have it removed a second time in a bigger set up with a cosmetic surgeon in which they cut out a bigger area and stitched it under my skin.  It wasn't breast cancer, it wasn't skin cancer, it was just a pain in the butt mole.  Things like this happen.

What you want to get in the habit of doing is breast exams. It's good you look them over. But what you also need to do is feel them.  You life an arm in the air either in the shower or laying in bed and examine the breast on the same side.  You feel around it looking for lumps.  Start at the bigger part and then work around the nipple.

But what you describe is not something I would worry about.  good luck (and don't forget to run these things by your mom. She's there to help!)
