Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums. We appreciate your question. Please do follow up with your doctor to discuss this situation further. It has been quite some time since your surgery and understand why you are concerned that you are still having issues such as swelling and pain. Here is an older medhelp post in which a medhelp doctor weighed in on a similar situation. https://

What strikes me about that post is that you could also be having similar issues. Here is some information on post traumatic arthritis. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/14616-post-traumatic-arthritis. Swelling could be a sign that this is going on and you should be evaluated by your doctor. They will likely do a physical, x rays and possibly a ct scan. If this is the cause of the issue, there are different things that they can try to help the situation. First though, you must be diagnosed.
Is it a possibility to get in to see your doctor?
