Hey, Jessi. It has been a while. A few months ago, you help me a lot, I can't be more grateful.
But I got some new situation here. Last night, I found 2 round scab on the right side of my butt. And then it occurs to me that 2 months ago I have found the same scab on the same place. At that time, I thought it was Folliculitis as I often receive Folliculitis in that area. I use my hand to click the scab, and I found some liquid with blood coming out of it. Really not worried about whether it was herpes or not. But I can't get a scab test, every hospital in my city doesn't offer it, I have to go to another city. And I don't sure whether it's too late or not.
1. In some threads, I read lesions caused by herpes can be very superficial, and don't bleed. Can we say it was not herpes because it bleed?
2. In the 9 day, I have several cut-like sore on the right side of my groin. I show the picture of them to 2 online doctor(because of the pandemic), and they both said" definitely not herpes". Because it healed too fast, in the 12 day, it almost healed. But similar sores have showed up this Monday, can we say this lesions weren't herpes because it healed too fast?
(My Capita and Roche Elecsys test both negative in the 16 week, though in the 12 week, a test produced by a company called Dia.pro turned positive)
Did you get a numerical result on your positive test, or did it just say "positive"?
You need to take a test that has a numeric value. It's likely that it's a false positive, but without knowing the number, it's hard to say.
Your chances of getting herpes from an entirely protected and brief encounter are very slim. See if you can go back to the larger city lab and just take the hsv2 IgG again.
