I've been to 20 to 25 different doctors re: severe herpes out break
near my tailbone...two ...one on each  side...about 1.5 inches long...and since they've cleared up I am suffering badly from Post herptic Neuragia...with Oxycodone, Meodrone, Garapentin pain &Acyrlvir 5xday.
No one has told me its cancer yet ...but the pain, the sweating, day & night..could it be just side affects from the meds. or prostate cancer...
when ejectuate its painful in my shift...not the testicles...so no sex for me.  Help...and my partner of 14 years just past away 6  mths. ago...its all too much sometimes.

Hi,

The excessive sweating generally occurs as a side-effect of the hormones that are used for treatment. You could try to take some soy products to limit these side-effects. Some patients report improvement with these - though robust evidence is wanting.

You could also discuss things with your doctor and explore the possibility of taking the hormones intermittently or shifting from an injectable hormonal drug to an oral one (which is less potent).

Of course, appropriate wear and perhaps a vacation to cooler places during summer may also help.
