I have a tickle in my throat on the left side and every time I get it I throw up. Even if I drink water, nothing helps. Had an endoscopy last year and threw up after. The doctor doesn't see anything. This is a horrible feeling. I was at work this morning when it happened again. made it to the bathroom in time.
common for anyone who has had a recent throat infection... the throat is irritated to the point that when it's dry it has a tingling poking itch that makes you cough and gag. This will go away after the throat irritation is gone, but I've had it when I get a cold, or on dry mornings. Drinking water does not help because the dry irritation isn't resolved - usually coughing so much that the mucous builds up and your swallow will cover it - but that's hardly what anyone wants. Instead get some soothing throat tea (slippery elm) - it's a bit smooth and slimy and does a great job covering over the throat.
I never have allergies, and recently had a cold, but some light bleeding from nose when I blow my nose only- pollen
pollen allergies, had 2 attacks just now, 1/2 hour later
Ive got the exact same thing now. If I try not to cough my eyes water and I go all hot, water doesn't help and even coughing doesn't make it stop tingling really, I just gag.
