A New and Fresh Start

Hey Randoms and all.

Sally got out of jail three weeks ago and is still clean.  Focused really heavy on recovery and our relationship.  She really is the amazing woman I always knew just deeper and better than I ever imagined.  We are falling in love all over again and it is wonderful.  Don't get me wrong, it is not all sunshine and roses, but pretty darn close.  Everything is so much easier to deal with now that I have a full participating partner by my side.  God is really showing us how to really, really live and it is a pretty great life.

So I got laid off from my awesome job a month ago and still havent rec'd any unemployment (boy those guys are in no hurry), but God is good and we have eachother and everything is going to be alright.

So let me tell you, those that are struggling to stay clean....do whatever you can to do it.  Life is so sweet when you can appreciate it through clear eyes and a clear heart.

I don't have internet at home and I dont have a job, but I promise I will check in as much as I can.  I love and appreciate you all so much for sticking with me over this past year.  It has been a rollorcoaster, but thanks to God and the support of you all, I hung in there and I am soooooo being rewarded for it.  I have fallen in love again with the woman of my dreams and life couldn't be sweeter.

Love always,

Debbie

Thank you all for your support.  Things are still going well.  Communication is the key.  Support is the other key.  Addiction can be so powerful, I see that now even in recovery.  It is a liar, a sneak, a dark black hole.  It hates us and wants to distroy our lives and kill us.  We must keep fighting it with love and communication and understanding (not to be confused with codependency).  Our loved ones, the ones that want to be saved, are worth our love, our patience, our understanding and our support.

Addiction is the enemy, not our loved ones.  Getting help and support is essential for recovery.  I'm so glad I found you and that we have eachother.  Keep on keeping on, people....WE ARE WORTH IT!!!!

All my love,

Debbie

Hi Debbie,

I am so happy to hear that you and Sally are doing well.  She is still very early in her recovery, but I can sense a joy in you that I haven't seen in any of your other posts. I'm sorry about your job, but things will get better....ino they will.  I hope that Sally has truly realized how lucky she is to have you.  I wish the best for both of you and your newfound happiness.  Good luck, and God Bless.

Please keep us posted when you can.

Luv,
Nauty...............
