***Anyone Remember Farrell's?***

I was just watching the local news today and they were talking about opening a Farrell's here in a couple weeks.  How many of you remember Farrell's??  Dang it !  that brings back some childhood memories !!  I loved Farrell's and have many a ribbon to show..."I at the pigs trough".....lol.  Never ate the Zoo

lmao yes jim people actually do live in toledo...and not to be rude to any people that actually live in the city......but toledo is nasty. its horrifically crime ridden and slummy. downtown area has been dead forever, its mostly old abandoned buildings. its really, really awful! The unemployment rate is sky high as is the crime rate. Im sooo glad to live about 30+ miles from it, in the WOODS =)

ps yes jamie farr is indeed from toledo (aNd lived in the ghetto, no less!) and Katie Holmes is too although she hails from a ritzy suburb, not the actual city.

TIO-    I didn't live in Toledo...I lived about 40 mins away.  I hung out there alot in my late teens and 20's.

Ga Guy- yes!!   Klinger (Jamie Farr) of M*A*S*H was from Toledo and he always talked about the restaurant, Tony Packos....known for their great hot dogs......I've eaten there too!! lol

LOL.......the Zoo!!  8lbs of Ice Cream??.......he!! no!  I'll stick to my measly pigs troff!  They are opening one here soon.  They are trying to bring it back!!  I loved Farrells....!!  Can't wait to go for my B-Day.......I hope it works.  It was a great place for kids!

I remember Farrell's!  We had one in Redford, Michigan.  Used to go there for birthday parties and such when I was a kid.  Wow does that bring back some memories.

Toledo???? People actually live in Toledo?  Only time I've been there is a few stops on the Lake Shore Limited train from Boston to Chicago, the last time with the worst hangover I've had in my entire life, which is what one gets from sitting in the bar from South station in Boston to someplace in upstate NY.  Didn't help that during a half hour stop in Albany we went to the cafe across the street for wings and shots....

Thank God I don't drink anymore..

what saved the hangover was the best burrito I ever had at a cafe at Union Station in Chicago loaded with the hottest salsa they had and drenched in tobasco sauce and a coke...felt like a million dollars after that.
