Hi troubleinohio, I know I have seen you on this site for some time now..so to get me up to speed, did you recently relaspe?
To address the energy issue Have you asked you Dr. for B12 shots once a week. In the winter when my energy is low and my physical pain is up, they really help me.
Make yourself a FIRST THINGS FIRST chart, follow that chart and you will accomplish the things you need to.
Try the Mind over Matter..Intellect Over Emotion
Remember we are usually DOING better than we are FEELING.
Pray...Go to bed early...Get up on time...Simplify and unclutter your life...Less is more...Have backups Pace yourself...Eat right
You have a lot more controll over things than you may realize. If you don't have to walk your school age child into the classroom...then let your 4 year take the ride in wet pjs...that may be a motivator for him to stop wetting the bed. ( unless there is a medical reason )
Put the children to bed earlier so you have time to prepare for the next morning
I hope some of this helped...take what you like and leave the rest......Debra

This medication is WONDERFUL,you can fully function with no nothing!!!My advise....try it..you will be very surprised by what it can do for you.I have been an O abuser for 16 years.I was up to taking 60 pain pills daily.GOD HELP YOU ALLLLLLLLL and also MYSELF along this journey!!!!
you know the drill. your going to have to just do it. you have been here helping people and you know its gotta end sooner or later. you cant keep putting yourself through this, your war needs to end. its time for the final offensive. time to win this once and for all
the problem is you been on them for a long time, much like I was. I had a real tough time shaking methadone/norco habit. I had wd's lingering on for over 4 weeks plus, because of the 'done. its just part of the drugs nasty effects. trust me things do get better, you know they do because you have been here for a long time. the exhaustion is part of the long term WD's, two months later I am still fighting with exhaustion too, but man does it feel great to be normal again. I will take the temporary exhaustion problem anyday. over the horrible fog and misery that the pills had me in.
dont give in, you need to do this for yourself and your loved ones.
Are you getting any aftercare trouble??
Just read your post. I have been in your shoes. Darn shoes, I thought for sure I through them away! Anyway, you are wearing them now and beleive me.... It's one moment at a time. Don't look down the road. You can't. Wash only what is needed to get by. Let the house go for now. It will be ok. Do not judge yourself! Do you have any familynear by? My sister was a huge help for me. Funny, my son had just started kindergarten also. I went to the doc and he put me on zoloft 150mg. It really helped wiht the depression/anxiety part. Also, work against yourself. If you feel like staying in bed, force yourself out. Drop off your son and make yourself go for a walk! Than rest. Really, do see your doc. The anti depressants helped me so much!

no, no partner.. i left my abusive ex almost exactly a year ago now.
Ive been a long time vicodin addict, many years of abuse off and on (mostly ON)
Don't try & look at ALL you have to do. just take it hour by hour...or minute by minute. Knwoing all you can about what is going on is very hjelpful. Also, even though it is tha LAST thing you feel like doing...get some walking exercise in...any way you can..esp early in the am..it stimulates all the "feel good" chemicals in your brain. Do you have a partner to help you?
What are you coming off of?
