Hope

         I have been sober a whole year now.  I've turned my business around as well.  I'm currently attending school .  The only problem I have is my health.  I have been having severe chest pains,along with a strong fluttering in my chest. It feels like someone is building a house in there. The chest pains are soon followed by  severe headaches.  I have had numerous test and nothing really showed anything.  I believe that this sickness resulted in my sobriety. I did pray for God to kill me or deliver me from addiction.  I thank him for my sobriety and put my trust in Him.  Anyone out there suffering from addiction ,don't wait 20 years to become sober,the damage to your body will be great.  There is consequense to all sin.  God will forgive you as he has forgiven me, but I have not forgiven myself therefore his healing over my body may  not have happened just yet .  I am still breathing for a purpose.  As long as anyone is still breathing there is always hope.

Congrats on the year!!  That's great! I agree with u! Always have hope and faith never loose that. I think once u loose faith u will loose the fight u have n u to want to get clean o stay clean.
