Meeting my son after 13yrs apart cause addiction.

What a gift I am so nervous I feel like getting sick. Only a yr sober and my family is coming back into my life. I dropped my son off on a door step in addiction and continued to use for 12 yrs then I tried to sober up but couldn't...untill I surrendered that I could not control addiction it controlled me and through NA I have found a new way to live and the promises of recovery are coming true. One day at a time ,with hard work and my support gr.I am restarting my life just at a different age lol Just posting this cause if you told me that I would even live let alone get to see my son again in the yr 2009 I would of told you NO WAY. But here is the day tomorrow that this will come true, Am crying as I type.I am truly blessed. So if anybody is struggling.. break it down to one day at a time and you will never know what time will bring to you in your journey of recovery!

Holy Smokes it went so well .That I almost have to pinch myself. We went hiking ,swimming, floating down the river on tubes. Talked and laughed. My son is a good young man. I am so happy. I also seen my other family who haven't seen me sober before it was GREAT. I showed everybody that I am happy and can have fun SOBER!. i got to take my Grandma out for dinner. Last time I seen her she gave me 20 bucks to get out of her house. My God is good to me. Thanks everybody for asking how all is . And I hope all is good with everybody. I feel like I have just experienced and out of body thing......I haven't' been able to sleep. Lol. Lots of time for that!.
