IF OUR COUNTRY WAS ATTACKED BY TERRORISTS

If we were to be attacked by terrorists again who would you rather have as president? Who would you feel more safe with McCain or Obama?

Just to straighten out the fraudulent registrations. These were fraudulent "applications".
I will try to explain this way.....

Magi and I registered voters this year.  You just give the person a form to fill out and enter their license or ID number.   By law all these applications must be turned in to the registration office.....even if the name was Mickey Mouse.  It's at the registration office that these applications are gone through and checked for valid information. These registration offices are run by republicans and democrats equally. So there's no funny business.
As far as Acorn is concerned they were doing as Magi and I were......having people fill out applications.  They do not do the validation of these applications. They actually tagged the applications they thought were fraudulent before they turned them in, but by law they had to turn them in. The registration office then filters out all fraudulent apps.
So the bottom line is fraudulent apps do not equal fraudulent votes.  Mickey Mouse never received a registration card after filling out an application.

Yes, there was tons of fraudulent apps. turned in, but this was by employees trying to make easy money.  It is a problem, but DOES NOT LEAD TO FRAUDULENT VOTES.

I am concerned about states that have registration and voting the same day. I'm not sure how those states are weeding out fraudulent apps.  Hopefully they have computer systems set up and can verify the applications on the spot.

I do fear today for the states that did not have early voting.  If there was 6 hr lines in the states that had early voting .......just imagine trying to get it done in one day.  They need to keep those places open until every last person gets to vote today.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE !

The thing that bothers me about the election as a whole is all the problems with registrations. No requirements of id. Today I saw on tv the police found thousands of voter registrations on a highway. The police said it was a civil matter. Does that make sense? There was a report that a bunch of the military registrations were not going to be accepted because they didn't fill in areas or some off the wall reason. That was from one of the voting registration offices. They aren't checking all of the fraudulent registrations where people have registered numbers of times. With no id anyone could come from anywhere and say they are that person. I only tell them my name and address when I go. We atleast want to know our vote is counted. We have no idea if they have sifted and found the fraudulent registrations, so they didn't vote early and get a vote in already. I never heard anything else about what they did about all those registrations they found. Were they taken or were they planted to get them in? Are we going to go to the polls and be told we are not on the list? One of the governors was saying that. This is a mess. Yet nothing moves the date of election. They should have been made to get those things straight before they took in anymore info and extended registration. I mean they are messing with what we go to the polls to do, and we have no idea what they do or have done as far as straightening out what 13 states? This stuff is plastered all over the tv. Then the computerized whatever new machines for voting they said they are having problems with and they might shut down because of so much activity. This has got to be the worst origanization for voting I have ever seen. Has anyone heard anything that we can be assured that they have straighten things out? Since there are thousands and thousands of votes involved it could affect the whole election.

For me, it's simple.  All candidates have pros and cons.  No one is perfect.  And  the two men are completely different.   One man gave myself, including his physical body to his country for the past 40 + years.  The other man came from no where,  got over $600,000 or is it  600 million? from whomever and has pal-ed around with people who DAMN our country.   Question.... why don't these people leave if they feel this country is bad?  hmmmmm   And millions trying to get in !!!
Anyway, because McCain gave so much for us, and he works with all and he has years of experience,  he's got my vote and my prayers.   God bless this country.  We aren't perfect but we try to help all citizens of this world.  Mistakes we will make but our heart is in the right place.    Let's all appreciate what we got here.

One thing that someone brought up today that made me stop and think is that everyone is falling for Obama's charisma, education and his smooth talk.  But, if you were interviewing someone for a job for a leadership position wouldn't you want that person to have experience in leadership.  Obama, if he wins, will get on the job training!  I'm sorry, but if we hire people based on their resume and experience - how does Obama qualify.  And, in this instance, I'm leaving the fact I disagree with his ideologies aside.  Just that fact alone keeps me from voting for him!
