Hi~ Sorry to hear this...I wondered where you were.
YES! Stay on those bipolar meds. It won't hurt you. Bipolar is a recognized illness.
Get yourself to meetings and get your attendance documented.
Fioricet is a controlled drug. It's a barbiturate. I've told you before how much I hate it. It's very addicting and causes rebound headaches. There are other meds you can take. Did your doctor know of your abuse history? The Fioricet worries me because you have such a proclivity toward abuse.
I wish you well~

I did take the fiorcet for a few days but after getting out of hospital haven't had a migraine yet, so maybe other meds are helping me with that also. I am still dealing with the depression but just hoping that other meds will help more as time goes by. Life is just so hard right now. I am involved with an outpaitent counsling right now and with NA and I really like it, so maybe things will get bettter
how long ago did they change your meds it cange take up to thrity days before your body adjusts .I dont think they are going to hold it against you if anything you are taking care of yourself in some states if you have NOT been taking your meds and your bi polor it can get you in trouble so I think it will show you are taking care of yourself .Now as for the barbituate i dont know I just would make sure if they ask what you are taking you tell them about everything ..It is going to be ok
Well I have only been on the meds for 2 weeks. I took the fiorcet over 2 weeks ago and haven't needed it since. I feel so tired from the other meds, it is hard to function. I know this is a side effect that will go away in time. People that know me keep telling me that I am not myself. I feel like I have no family support either way. If I take the narcotics I am a horrible person. If I take the meds for bi-polor then I am too quiet and calm. My God what else do people want from me???
Listen you HAVE to take you bi polor meds at first they will make you sleepy but you know it goes away.If after a month they are not working talk to your doctor do not self medicate or stop using them that could cause you major problems . You dont need that you have been turning thing round keep it up
Thanks yall, well yes I am still taking my meds for bipolar, and no not taking the fiorcet. I still have it, kinda hard to get rid of it cause scared if I get a migraine I won't know what to do. My bipolar meds are actually helping me to feel better emotionally. And they are keeping the migraines away. What a relief to actually feel like I am in control of the way I feel. Wish I would of figured this out a long time ago. I guess staying 2 weeks in a hospital was the best thing for me at that time....just praying this all continues...........
