MAY I BRAG FOR A MOMENT?

Yesterday was my daughter's high school graduation, and this morning her Dad and I presented her with her gift:  a black Mustang GT.  Now for the bragging part; K-6 grades, she maintained a perfect 4.0.GPA and her dad told her that if she could continue to make all A's she could get a new mustang for graduation.  Not only did she keep all A's, but with the honors classes she took, she was the valedictorian with a 4.5 GPA.  

OMG I am so proud of her that I don't know what to do.

I remember when mine walked up for that diploma! What a feeling!  They are all on their own now, and Oh My, What a feeling!  It dont get no better than that! lol

Thanks Guys, I am walking around so puffed up with pride.  But I am also thankful that I am sober and can actually remember all of it.  That is a major accomplishment for me.  I don't know how I was able to have such a wonderful daughter when I was messed up for most of her life.  I always hoped and prayed that part of my life would not affect my kids.  I am sure it has in some way, but that God for the Christian woman she has turned out to be.

#1 in a class of 168....ocer $27,000.00 in college scholarships.  I am such a lucky parent!  Thank You God for everything!

Treat children as the adults you want them to become.
With that said:
May I borrow the car? It's a beautiful weekend here in So Cal...I would hate to see it sitting in a driveway... ;)
