hey guys. yeah ive been on this evil drug for 4 years man. i cant get off its the biggest mistake ive ever made. it absolutely runs my life. i tell people who are about to start to NOT. just stop taking vics or whatever and just handle the minor aches and pains of street drugs. once i didnt sleep for 9 days and ended up in the hospital. and they still could seduce me. they literally had to get some suboxone adn admit me. as soon as i got 4 mg of suboxone i fell asleep 1/2 hour later and slept for like 2 1/2 days. evil man. just evil.
fred ,
I think they come in the 8mg and the 2 mg I think what they do is get the 2mg and yes cut them I am sure somebody will either pop in saying that correct info or not .They cut them into tiny pieces .
Hey Fred - Use a pill cutter to cut the smallest pieces that you can. Some people have said that they dissolve just a minute amount in water and take it that way to get the smaller dose - the pills only come in 8mg and 2mg form. Obviously it would be easier to break into the smaller doses at the 2mg strength, but many don't get that. I took 1/4 of an 8mg tab and just broke it into small crumbs to get the smaller doses.
What is the smallest dose in milligrams avisg? I thought they only come in 8 mgs, 4 mgs and 1 mgs tablets. Did you just use a pill cutter to get the 1/2 mg dose. By the way, thanks for your input. It really is appreciated.
Fred
painful ohhhh yeah if you try to jump off at 4mg you are going it have a very hard time you will go threw nasty withdrawl they say you really need to go all of the way down to ..5mg then .5 every other day .
WOW, okay, last saturday as I was going shopping with my wife, (there was a snowstorm on the way) I developed this, Attitude" a nasty kind of mindset, where I was behaving like I woke up with a Benzo hangover. My wife was disgusted and asked me what my problem was. I had been throwing items into our wagon and was really unbearable.
After that I started to cut myself sown by 4 mgs a day and today is my 2nd day without Suboxone.
I don't know why this happened but I didn't like it one bit. I asked other people and some had the same experiences.
What's going on?
I could not find anything about class actions suits against it but here
In October 2002, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved buprenorphine monotherapy product, Subutex®, and a buprenorphine/naloxone combination product, Suboxone®, for use in opioid addiction treatment. The combination product is designed to decrease the potential for abuse by injection. Subutex® and Suboxone® are currently the only Schedule III, IV, or V medications to have received FDA approval for this indication. Note that aside from Subutex® and Suboxone®, other forms of buprenorphine (e.g., Buprenex®) are not approved for treatment of opioid addiction.
The FDA approval of these buprenorphine formulations does not affect the status of other medication-assisted opioid addiction treatments, such as methadone and LAAM (levo-alpha-acetyl-methadol). As indicated in Title 42 Code of Federal Regulations Part 8 (42 CFR Part 8), these treatments can only be dispensed, and only in the context of an Opioid Treatment Program. Also, neither the approval of Subutex® and Suboxone®, nor the provisions of DATA 2000, affect the use of other Schedule III, IV, or V medications, such as codeine, that are not approved for the treatment of addiction
Side effects of buprenorphine are similar to those of other opiates and include nausea, vomiting, and constipation. Buprenorphine and buprenorphine/naloxone can precipitate the opioid withdrawal syndrome. Additionally, the withdrawal syndrome can be precipitated in individuals maintained on buprenorphine. Signs and symptoms of opioid withdrawal include:
Dysphoric mood
Piloerection
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
Muscle aches/cramps
Yawning
Lacrimation
Mild fever
Rhinorrhea
Insomnia
Pupillary dilation
Craving
Sweating
Distress/irritability
Dysphoria is an unpleasant or uncomfortable mood, such as sadness (depressed mood), anxiety, irritability, or restlessness.[1] Etymologically, it is the opposite of euphoria.
Dysphoria refers only to a condition of mood and may be experienced in response to ordinary life events, such as illness or grief. Additionally, it is a feature of many psychiatric disorders, including anxiety disorders and mood disorders. Dysphoria is usually experienced during depressive episodes, but in people with bipolar disorder, it may also be experienced during manic or hypomanic episodes.[2] Dysphoria in the context of a mood disorder indicates a heightened risk of suicide.[2]
Dysphoria can be chemically induced by substances including µ-opioid antagonists[3] and selective ĸ-opioid agonists
First problem is of course there is no long term studies on sub because of the amount of time its been fda approved in the us for even 10 years yet .I am sure someone will post with the exact year it was on .However I find it hard to believe it could be causing schizophrenia unless the person was already going to suffer from the disease how old is this person and are they male or female ..I have never heard about any class action suits against it .I am sure it probably can cause anxiety with side effects like this are you and your friends continuing to take it or are you taper off of it .How much are you taking?4 years is a long time for them to be on it .Are you and your friends getting recovery care like aa or na ? I will look around and see what I can find out anything is possible but some of this may be caused by other things. I will let ya know wha
t I can find.
