So what's your best guess on what the first dog will be ?  Poodle.....Golden retriever....big dog.....little dog....?

My hopes are that they get a mutt from the pound.  With all the foreclosures, millions of dogs & cats have lost their homes.

Those golden/doodles are so ugly. OMG, LOL Why wouldn't they want a Chihuahua. hahaha
My smallest Chi always has the bling goin' on... Pink diamond(crystal) collar!!! She thinks she's as mean as a pit-bull too.

I heard on the news that   Obama wants a rescue , but the girls want a golden doodle.....lab and poodle .   I bet the girls win.

She gave somebody else a cocker spaniel on her show once and I just can't remember who it was.  She is a HUGE Obama supporter and she was there last night.  So, that's what made me think of Oprah.

OH you guys are so right!!!! I bet she does! Wow how cool is that? I saw her cocker on her show a few times and it was ADORABLE!! Her goldens are too! Goldens are awesome for kids too!!

A Labrador retreiver would be GREAT for the girls. I have a yellow and she is the bestest dog ever! She was so easy to train. She LOVES kids and she thinks she is one!!!  Wonderful disposition, loyal, dont require too much maintance, and just all around great dogs!! Im a  little bias though!!

I think he'll let his daughters pick the puppy.  Hopefully from the pound, but someone will probably bring a puppy as a gift and the daughters will fall in love with it right away.
