anyone who says happy holidays, is giving in. here's how it goes, they wanted woman's lib, they got it, they wanted egual rights, they got it, they wanted not to have to work on thanksgiving or christmas, they got it, at some places, they wanted people not to get fired for things they should have been fired or running the owner and telling him basically what the is going to do with his company when he should be able to decide who works for him or not it's his company, they push companies around, they got it, they wanted less sugar or fat foods in restaurants and a fat free menu, they got it, they wanted trans fat out, they got it, they wanted you to call it holidays, they got it, someone is trying to run things. like Hitler, and making small rules, after rules, after rules, until little by little they break everyone down, weaken them from not enough sugar or fat or what nutrients their body needs, until the country is so weak, they can take over, all the while eating all the food they stole from my pantry.
Merry Christmas,Denise :)
Here our Christmas holidays last a week longer because presents to the children ( and the adults ) are brought by the three wise men ( the three kings ) so oficially christmas ends the 6th of January. Tomorrow night we celebrate the birth of Jesus with the family and friends so it is a little bit more relaxing because we are not in a hurry to buy the presents.
Feliz Navidad to all of you !!! :)
Yes it Hawaiin for Merry Christmas
Is that an Hawaiin greeting?
Narla I just say Mele Kalikimaka which just confuses everyone cause most of them have no idea what I am saying. So Mele Kalikimaka to everone at Medhelp.---Rick

We have both been blessed with healthy grandbabies, what more do we need~~~
Merry Christmas narla!!! sara
at the place i work, we have about 15 people who work very closely together. of them, there are christians, jews, a muslim, a pagan, and an athiest....happy holidays tends to be much easier to say. thats just 15 people, too! i can only imagine the diversity in a forum like this. even among christians, some people don't even celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.....so i use happy holidays. its different for everyone....but since you celebrate Christmas, then Merry Christmas!
I say Merry Christmas too. I have all my life.
Merry Christmas Narla!
A lot of people here have bbqs at the beach and a lot of seafood is eaten, lobster is the big one and prawns,we normally have the air con on if we are at home,I would love to see a white christmas though
On another note weird weather around the world,in the mountains of NSW and Victoria they have just had snow and it's the middle of summer here.
Santa's sleigh is guided by six white boomers, albino kangaroos lol
we have a lot of Aussie Christmas carols too
We get Christmas cards here with santa wearing board shorts on a surfboard, but in red and still wearing the red santa hat.
I say Merry Christmas. It's the Christmas season and I've never met anyone who doesn't get caught up in it; in some fashion...
No one got upset back in the day and I'm a non PC dinosaur. So,I wish the Chinese
Happy New Year even though that's probably bad, too!
I mean well...
Merry Christmas to all~
xo
I say "Merry Christmas".
I am like you Narla, I just can't bring myself to say "Happy Holiday".......
....On another note, how does Santa deliver toys there if it is summertime? Does he have wheels on his sleigh? And what about the Christmas decorations...are people in shorts and walking in green grass?
Apologies if I am throwing this off topic..............just curious
Oh yeah, "Merry Christmas"!
Thank you IBKleen,
We still have Santa and Christmas decorations in all the shopping centres,Christmas carols playing and even nativity scenes set up,if people don't celebrate Christmas in that way, they just walk away,I'm glad we can still enjoy it the way we always have.
But I also don't complain when things are set up for other religions in the public domain,
I can only tell you how I do it. I don't wish myself a Happy or a Merry anything so the greeting is not directed at me. When I do wish it to someone that I am friendly with, I already know their religious denomination so I use the the greeting "Merry Christmas", or "Enjoy your holiday". Since here in the US we live in the melting pot of the world, I try to be respectful of the holiday others may be celebrating.
Since I now know, I wish you and yours a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year!
