Hello I didn't know at first there was a social community till I had a topic moved here. Glad that happened I enjoy this community a lot>  I love so many of you and funny things we comment on the jokes, what would take desert island. etc....

Since there are many many people from all over the world thought may be cool say where we live ONLY STATE  NOT CITY (REMEMBER DON'T GIVE OUT OTHER PERSONAL INFO LIKE LAST NAME ETC)

Who is looking forward to winter etc....


I live in VA and winter is already here we missed fall and went straight to winter cold burrrrr....rained 4 days straight.
Christmas is my fav Holiday season. Love smell, decorating, lights everything about it,

It is nice to hear where everyone is from. Love the internet. I live in Costa Rica but from MA. Hated winter that is part of the reason for the move. It is rainy season now, I live in the mountains which is cooler and foggier than the coast. We have hot sunny mornings and tropical storms in the afternoon. Everything is green and lush. In the mountains you get evergreens next to palm trees; parrots and toads (big and poisonous to dogs), snakes, spiders, and sunshine. Unfortunately very easy access to drugs...

I am in Alabama like member leeisgettingclean, but all I can say is rain, rain, rain!!! It has rained in my area for almost two months now.  We are something like six inches over for the year and we still have two and a half monhts!  It has finally gotten colder.  It is only going up to 60 today.  And yes, buy the way, we don't all live in trailers, I live in a suburb, we dress like everyone else, have nice cars and do have large buildings and major businesses in the larger cities.  Not here to defend my state, but just get so tired of stereotypes!  And no, we all don't speak "redneck"! LOL

I do love warm weather.  Originally from Jacksonville, FL.  Would LOVE to move to south FL.  Who care about hurricanes?  We have tornadoes here.

It's beautiful here now. There is still color on the trees...the rain hasn't taken all the leaves off yet. That reminds me...I need to go canoeing. It's the best thing next to trail riding on horseback! S'posed to have a milder winter since cold weather started way early this year. I hope so...I'm 500 feet off the road and sold my snow plow thinking I wouldn't ever be living here again. *sigh*

Fall is my favorite season. I love the crisp air, the smell of the sugar in the leaves, and the color palate.

Southern Cali here...rain has gone away...nice, sunny, 70's - 80's for the next or so...used to Live in DC, NY...miss the 4 seasons at time... =)

Alabama here and I am sick of hot weather..humidity suxs! It has been in the high 80's with humidity added feels abotu 100 and it is OCTOBER! We are susposed to have some cooler weather coming in this weekend, can't wait to have 65 high :) November is my favorite month, sky is so blue, days are cooler and nights are great.
I liked the idea for this post, nice to read about where everyone is from.

I'm in the UK and its cold and misty here. Not really looking forward to winter TBH as theres nowhere near enough sun here even in the Summer!

I am from Arizona, it's still warm here about 85-90 during the day then about 75 at night. It won't start getting cooler until about November unfortunately. My favorite holiday is Halloween. And I love animals, especially cats, black ones. All my pets are black, they have to match  my hair :) lol

I am from Southern Minnesota.....Our summer was cool here and we have already had snow here a few times.  Early for us too.  The squirrels here have been burying their stash early here too and the nests are high in the trees.  

Christmas is my favorite holiday..i still get a real tree and decorate for days.  My family knows to just lock it up and not say a word till i am done!!!

From Northern Ca. what can I say we have great weather.. had a tropical storm move over us yesterday unusual for this time a year. caused a lot of land slides where forest fires have been and flooding.. I look forward to the rain and the fog horns off the bay in winter but favorite time of year is summer..

i am in kentucky....yes i have all my teeth and we dont all chew and wear overalls!! I promise there are some off all types here!! : ) It is cold here already, i am just waiting on the snow to come so I can go out and make snow angels!!.....haha...

I live in Auckland, New Zealand and it's supposed to be spring...all the baby animals are being born and the flowers are starting to bloom BUT it's freaking snowing down south making it freezing cold all over the country...largest snow fall in decades for this time of year.  What's happening to our weather!!!! We had a beautiful  sunny and warm day last Sunday but that was it!!! We want the Summertime to start...:o)

I am so glad you posted this. It is a way for us to see where everyone is without looking at their profile.

I am in PA. We are having very strange weather. The leaves came down early this year, kinda of a "brown and down" thing with barely any color and we are now way past peak. Fall is my favorite time of the year and I feel like it was taken away from me by the weather GODS..LOL

Tomorrow they are predicting snow. Snow in the middle of October? Very rare so we are bearing down for a bad winter.

I live in the woods so instead of relying on the weather team for our reports, we rely on the animal's behavior to predict the upcoming season. The chipmunks and squirrels began hiding everything they could get their little paws on in August. That was strange. Of course without the sticky notes they don't remember where they hid them. LOL The deer began changing colors before they weaned the fawns. Also strange behavior.

And absolutely worst of all? I have to close the hot tub down early this year. Woo is me
