Ugly Cakes/ birthday

I mentioned in Vic's valentine day post that Im making another birthday cake for my son this weekend, who will be turning 6 .  Well, I just got back from the store- thought I'd bought all the supplies I need to make his strawberry cake-- Im going to attempt to draw SpongeBob SquarePants this year.....well i got all the yellow I need, and pink and red for his mouth, tongue and black for outlining and his shoes.....got home and realized I need BROWN for his freaking SQUAREPANTS for god sakes, lmao!~! how could i forget that part?? Was I gonna make him ALL yellow and have him *gasp* NAKED?? LOL geeeeeeez.  Will have to go back to the store!

Did i mention i make the world's most hideous cakes?? Its a tradition though and cant break tradition. Every year, every time I bake a cake no matter what holiday, I bake a cake that tastes great but looks awful, lol. Always take a picture of it too, to preserve the traumatic memories of their childhood LOL.  Im going to post a parade of ugly cakes in my profile whenever i get the chance to upload them so you can all see exactly what Im talkin about. It aint pretty. lol

those poor people taking their dreamt wedding cake photo taken from some  magazine and then bommmmm  they have to face the absolute mess someone made of their wedding cake...

laurel....omg im dying here looking at that site, ROFL!! but omg those feet/toes/fungus ones are NASTY no way i'd eat a cake like that lol.  I did love the toe tag one though- that was hysterical!

Vic- im too scared to experiment with coloring that way. My luck it'd look like spongebob Diarrhea-Pants lol.   btw i realized they dont make brown decorative icing! so Im gonna just use a different color like orange or something lol

What if you add some green food coloring to the red, will that make brown?

Spongebob does run around in his white underpants at times too!!!!  Okay maybe not appropriate for a childs birthday!!!!!  Cant wait to see these cakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
