Update on my niece

My niece while in rehab detoxing has come to the realization that she is an addict. She has agreed to go to a residential rehab to work on her problem. I am so proud of her. I talked on the phone with her today and she was crying about all the hurt she caused and for telling me she hated me. I told her that wasn't her that was her addict brain trying to justify why she was taking drugs. She told me that she now understands that and wants everyone to forgive her and trust her again. I said that will come with time my dear. This will be a truly Merry Christmas for all of us. God Bless---Rick
