**Vote Cast--Stamped and Mailed**

Okay, so I know many of you have expressed loss of sleep over "Who is Nauty Going to Vote For"  Well, you can all sleep easy now.  I cast my for for our next President Of the United States  "Barrak Obama"  What finalized my decision was a conversation I had with an 82 yr. old man I have known ...forever.  I had a computer built for him because he has never seen the internet and he needs to see it.  I saw his mail in registration envelope sitting on the table and expressed that I was mailing mine in too.  I asked him who he was voting for, and mind you ...this is a very head-strong 82 yr old military man, who for some reason I assumed to be a Republican.  Also, a very ..well, lets say ..very racist individual.  I was shocked to hear first that he was a democrat, and that he was voting for Obama.....Extremely shocked !!  So, I figured he has been around and back, and if he (the racist) is voting for Obama, there really must be a reason.......it was a long conversation, and listening to him......that clintched my vote too.  He also loved Hillary and Bill, and wanted to see Hillary ultimately be President.........

I truly feel Obama deserves the chance to practice what he preaches, its time for a party change, and time to Party !!!!

I have the same problem with my mother. She wanted Hillary. She has never, ever voted Republican. But now, she keeps trying to come up with some reason not to vote for Obama. I can't believe some of the stuff that comes out of her mouth.
I showed her the video of the people outside McCain/Palin rallies, and said you are like them. ahahahahah  Then I throw in a lie here and there. Like, McCain wants to end social security by 2010. I told her McCain wants her to get insurance for her cancer treatments.ETC........She has become a solid Obama supporter.
She is going to vote for him as long as I don't call McCain~~~The Cheek, anymore

I'm about 95% in Obama's camp...If I were to vote today, I'd vote for him...I just hope that if he is elected, he can unite the country, get people fired up (Positively) and get things moving..that is what we need.  I don't see those qualities in McCain and while I find Ms Palin attractive (particularly with her hair down) that's about all I see in her.  And I respect McCain a great deal for his years of service to the country..but frankly, his age scares me.


Obama is going to be in the town east of me (about a 10 min drive) tomorrow and unfortunately I won't be able to see him (work)  I could work from home and take a long lunch, but alas, I dropped my laptop this morning and destroyed the screen..turn it on and it looks like a picasso..so I must go into work where I have another system

Yes, and I finally talked my Mother into voting for Obama......she would not vote for him because of racial issues......dang it !  I knew she had racial issues, but not as bad as I thought....I ripped her a new one and she is voting for Obama !!!  Dammm I am good !!!

Now if he was Asian.......Oh, boy!  I wonder how difficult that would be....lol.  I'm working on her with that one now......no luck yet.  lol.

I'm not really happy with my vote--I have to admit, but you have to really look at things objectively and Howard really helped me with that.  I love Howard !!  he's the BoMb.

Sounds like an interesting older gentleman. I wish I could convince my dyed in the wool democrat Dad to vote for Obama. Given a blind list of the actual candidate stands on the issues he should be Obama all the way. But, Obama is black and he just won't go there.  At least he is honest about it and doesn't claim to be voting on the basis of sleazy, unsubstantiated, lies and inuenndo.
