Omg how cute ...you and hoppy. I loved my raggedy ann doll. I still have her she is 48 yrs old. She's a wreck though. She looks like a monster doll. lol A few of our dogs got hold of her and just time has taken its toll. She has stiches on her face and arms. She would probably scare a young child. lol
This question brought back some memories..lol..I was the BIGGEST tom-boy you could imagine, but I absolutely LOVED My Little Ponies. I had every single one of them, I even had the huge barn and stables that went with them lol. I also loved Rainbow Bright I wouldn't even think about leaving the house without my Rainbow Bright doll.
I loved my Barbies and my Cabbage Patch Kids. Dont forget the Carebears, Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Ponies. But my all time fav things was my Winnie the Pooh pillow. I call it my Pooh. Still sleep with it to this day. I got it for my 3rd birthday, it was a set with a matching blanket. I still have the blanket put away. I cant sleep without my pooh pillow, even travels with me. I even had it at the hospital when i was in labor with my kids. Like i said i cant sleep without it. The kids also understand that it is off limits to them....its mommies!! LOL
Barbie & Ken..the originals (yes, I'm old) Had all the original Barbie stuff, the car ,the outfits etc. Wish I still had all my Barbie & Kens, they'd be worth a pretty penny.
I want to say my BB gun - but I was always taught that it wasnt a toy - just a lot of fun. So I better go with my Gilbert Chemistry Set ...... I was making gunpowder at age 8 -- --- Blow them barbies up ^^^
NNOOOOOO, not my Barbies !!!!!!!!!!!l LOL
Eagle...dont blow up my barbies!! LOL
My brother use to tie my dolls to the back of his Big Wheel and take off draggin them behind!! My dollies had lots of band-aids!! LOL....oh to be a kid again!!!
My Mrs. Beasley doll. Still have her. My grandson is scared to death of her. Says she looks "freaky". She sits on a shelf in my bedroom.
My Easy-Bake-Oven........I loved that thing.......until I cooked a bar of soap in it....My friend had a walk-in Playhouse.......I want one to this day. Dang it, Gizzy.......thanks for the memories.......
nauty.......
Oh, Oh, oh, and those paper dolls.......dangit I loved paper dolls........huh
Oh remember how we could set them up in their house by opening the folder they came in?? Oh those were the days.
Giz, this is great.
I'd have to say that it was the etch-a-sketch for me!
But luv me sum paper dolls & barbies too back then.
I wish they would have made one of those battery kid sized pink barbie jeeps in my days.........that Ken-Doll would have left me after divorce.
Paper dolls...I forgot about them, lol, yup , paper dolls.
Bandmom, LOL, My brother would take Mary's & and my other sister, Dee's,
Ragidy Ann dolls and hang them with a noose from the upstairs bedroom so that they would see them hanging from their bedroom window downstairs. They would freak out. He was always torturing their dolls. Then I'd have to sew them or paint their faces back on etc.
LOL, I think Eagle was one of those brothers too.......blowing up our barbies!
I forgot about the Paper Dolls too...They were so much fun...They still sell those at the stores. I tried to convince my daughter to let me buy some for "her" and she wouldn't have to play with them alone I would play too..lol...She didn't fall for it and told me if I wanted them then buy them for myself...lol
They still make them?......I am off to ToyRUs now !!!!!!
we used to light those plastic army men on fire .....you know? the big bags of them. They burned well.......
ahh the memories !!
For a present my Dad bought my brother & I an old car from the junkyard. We sat and played in there hours on end. When we grew up we tried to get it running...not. But it was a good learning tool. There are far too many things now to keep our kids from learning and using their imagination.
I must inform you that the destruction of members of a plastic army is a direct violation of the Uniform Code Of Military Justice and as such you are subject to termination with extreme prejudice at any time of opportunity. Dont ever close your eyes again!!!
Uh OH Eagle's gonna get out his chemistry set and blow you up. LOL
I did rip the head of of GI Joe and threw it in the fireplace.......and took great pleasure in ripping him limb from limb. My brother beat me over the head with him and GI Joe had to go......sorry.
As far as the army men ......the bag of 60 of them........we were children.....cut me some slack.
Hey ? you didn't say anything about the picture of me draped in the flag??? I read that was a federal offense too.......hmm.
Luv,
nauty.........
GI-JOE.....
I have every GI_JOE toy up to 1985 even the 7 foot battleship.....
Consider yourself having been cut some slack. The Court Marshal Board vote was quite close though...... And I can handle the flag part - its like freedom of speech. None of us ever fought just for our own freedoms. We put it on the line for everyone. And that includes you and thats all right by me. .....
Lmao! I don't understand anything you said, but it's sounds like I'm not going to get Court Marshalled?sp?.....Although, If he is cute......maybe I wouldn't mind.......:-))
Luv,
Nauty........
you havent been chatting latey....whats up with that???
I loved the paper dolls... I do have to say on the G.I.Joe issue...I have a personal issue with him... they boys would call me G.I. Joe in the 1st grade. Not Nice! LOL
well I had a few. I loved my Holly Hobbie doll and my battery powered jaguar..lol
