Nice to know your still around. Haven' t seen you pop up her for a while. You are only one of many that could be of use around here. You are needed because of your knowedge and experience on these sites. I have been on this side mostly of late and that is because it tells me how everyone is doing. They come here to have fun, to discuss topics,  to vent their frustations and to feel cameradie. Addiction woes are not just drugs, it is a feeling of being separated from society, a hunger to be accepted, a wish to be as they once were, a  hope that soon all will be well, not only with themselves, but with family and friends alike. These addiction forums drug, and social are actually societies of the disenchanted. Working together and reaching out to one another when needed is the panacea that will help many to finish the journey. No matter how many times one fails, the fact that someone here is willing to help no matter how long it takes and gives of themselves so that success will finally happen is the mark of most here. Without these sites many who were able to swim to shore might have drowned in the waves of addiction instead. To those who have given of themselves so often when needed, I salute you and thank the heavens that you were here to answer the many cries for help.

Yes, that was indeed a beautiful post and I didn't comment on it...thank you...Springsteen was just unreal.  I'd never seen him before, like some of his music, but what a hard working showman..he and the whole band.  Even with 1.5 hour rain delay he did his usual 3 hours and was just plan sensational.  He and I are the same age and I don't think I could keep up with him..

Ah, the Beachboys...saw they back in the 70s...they opened for the Grateful Dead..and put on quite a show (from what I remember..

God bless

Whoa, you've had a plate full to handle! It is good to see you around. I hope everything gets better for you and the family. I bet Bruce Springsteen was good. The Beach Boys are coming to town and I would love to see them.
