depression still lingers

It's been well over a month that I stopped the oxycodone and I'm still depressed and having panic attacks. If anything, they are getting worse not better. I told my husband this and he said don't worry you will be your old self again and I smiled and said sure. The last time I was depressed like this was when I had my last child.

Can anyone out there reassure me that this will pass.

Jules

I would rather not get on anti-depres. meds. I have had it with taking pills. I hear so much about the amino acid stuff, that I think maybe that's the way I will go. I'm looking for a natural way to get back to normal .

Thanks,

Jules

Look at the amino acid protocol. SamE, L-Tyrosine, 5 htp and others can support the moods (Try adding 1 at a time)

i'm not advocating taking Antidepr. meds but it helped me also. it took me a long time to learn to live without pills.

Yes, it will pass. It takes a while. I took Lexapro for almost 2 months and weaned my self off and was fine. I'm not advocating an anti depressant but it helped me so much in the beginning and then I just didn't need it after about a month or so. I promise you it will get better.
